What is the ACE PAC?
The goal of the ACE Passenger Advisory Council (PAC) is to provide input to the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission on the ACE service as it relates to the passenger and the provision of rail transit services.
The ACE PAC typically meets once per quarter on a Saturday morning from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Stockton Cabral Station. These meetings are a critical time to review the status of major capital projects, service issues, outreach efforts and general praises or concerns. The ACE PAC members do not receive compensation or reimbursement of expenses for attending these meetings.
In order to qualify as an ACE PAC member, staff asks that the prospective member to have been riding the service for at least 6 months. ACE PAC members are expected to offer constructive, non-accusatory criticism of the agency, capital projects, services, etc. Members are considered to be models of safe and supportive passengers on the ACE system.
Current ACE PAC members and ACE staff are responsible for recruiting, reviewing, and approving candidates for its membership, which will be made up of no less than three and no more than seven members.
Members can be recruited at any time and can begin attending meetings at any time once there is a consensus among the current members to join.
