Leo Zuber has been part of the Ripon community since 1979 and a resident since 1985. He came to Ripon as the principal of Ripon Elementary School and in the next 32 years, served in a variety of school district administrative positions. He retired in 2008 after serving as the school district’s superintendent for 15 years.
Leo is active in many other aspects of Ripon community life. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce and the Ripon Arts League. He is a member of the Ripon Lions Club and a member of Spring Creek Golf and Country Club, where he is currently serving his second term on the governing board.
Leo was elected to the Ripon City Council in 2012 and is serving his second term. He was appointed to the Board of the San Joaquin Council of Governments to represent Ripon in 2013 and continues in that role today. Earlier this year he was selected by the Council of Governments to fill an appointed position on the Board of the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission.
